Training & background:

MD and a specialty degree in Otorhinolaryngology obtained at the University of Belgrade, Serbia; PhD awarded from the University College London; Thomas Simm Littler Prize from the British Society of Audiology for research and clinical application of otoacoustic emissions; A specialty degree in Audiovestibular Medicine (CCST), London.

Clinical Interests:

Neuro-otology (dizziness and balance disorders), ménière’s disease, tinnitus and hyperacusis, migraine-related hearing and balance disorders, general disorders of the hearing system and cochlear implant.

Full-time NHS Consultant at St George’s Hospital, with an interest in research and its translation into clinical practice. Involved in teaching of medical students, junior doctors (Educational Supervisor) and PhD supervision. In addition: Expert Witness of the Medical Protection Society, Peer reviewer of scientific journals and research grants.
