Training & background:

Miss Pepera began her medical career in London, qualifying from the Royal Free Hospital Medical School in Hampstead. She undertook basic and higher training at Teaching hospitals, mainly in London, including St Mary's Hospital (Paddington), Royal Free Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, Kingston Hospital and St George's Hospital. Miss Pepera was granted her Certificate in Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2005, then continued as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Early Pregnancy, Emergency Gynaecology, Fertility and Colposcopy and Cervical Screening. She also holds an Diploma from the Royal College Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. Since 2009, Miss Pepera has been a Consultant Gynaecologist and Colposcopist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. She was elected as Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2011. At the end of 2013, Miss Pepera will be stepping down from full-time NHS employment and intends to accept Honorary Consultant Positions at St George's Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital.

Menstrual disorders, colposcopy, cervical screening and women's sexual health.

Personal profile:

Miss Pepera is married with three sons. She enjoys cooking Masterchef - inspired creations at home! She also enjoys walking and going to the theatre.
